FGM is illegal in Kenya and Tanzania, but it continues in secret. This book was written to help bring light and courage.
To protect girls.
To help traditions evolve.
And to invite boys and men to see why.

Maasai emphasize community and family, respect for elders, bravery, courage, self-discipline, and endurance.
They are cattle herders most of all – who live in balance with the land.
